The concert held in Hong Kong yesterday organised by Eric Tsang and Alan Tam raised a total of about 56 million yuan for disaster relief in Taiwan.
The theme song for the concert was an adaption of Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge over Troubled Water - which is distinctly appropriate under the circumstances. All the artists arrived at the scene wearing a uniform bearing the map of Taiwan on white T shirt that read, "flood-friendly action 8.8" and a pair of jeans.
Jackie sent another video message in which he said
"Hong Kong is my home, Taiwan is my second home. The experience of these years I have learned that in difficult times people want to lend hand to help "
